why were you the one

well, this is the truth
of why i chose you!!!
You treated me with respect,
gave me love and understanding
something that i really wasnt expecting
you showed me another side of me
of how good things could really be
if i just se my heart free and let it be
Told me to keep my head up and never frown,
to be strong, to smile to the world, and to be proud
and that if i ever needed somebody to talk to
you'd be there to listen
